MNB’s 19th Annual Hot Summer Nights free concert series returns to Norris Park on July 27 and August 10 with an impressive lineup of Nebraska’s own talented musicisians.
The concert series will kick off on July 27 with the Dylan Bloom Band. Rooted firmly in their small town origins of North Bend, Nebraska, the Dylan Bloom Band is both lyrically and musically driven by its real life country source. Voted one of the “Top Ten Bands you should see live” by the Lincoln Journal Star and nominated for “Best Country Act” by the Omaha Entertainment Art Awards. Josh Hoyer, a competitor on this season of NBC’s “The Voice” takes the stage on August 10. Josh Hoyer and his band, Soul Colossal, are a powerfully authentic and original Soul/Funk band from Lincoln, Nebraska. Josh continuously crosses musical boundaries both in style and era, and joins forces each show with a common goal - to have the crowd dancing so much they forget even their smallest troubles. All Hot Summer Nights concerts are free to attend and take place at Norris Park in McCook at 6:30 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a free-will donation BBQ during each concert to benefit local non-profit groups.
